She states the latest recommendations for vaccinating premature infants, and explains why it is important for nurses to provide parents with reliable, verifiable information on this topic. She further explains why there is a delay in vaccinating premature infants in some circles, but why infants should still receive all routine childhood vaccinations at the same chronologic age as term infants.
